Social media training launch Social media represents an incredible opportunity for insurance advisors. It's a great way to be found, stay connected with and provide information to both new and existing clients. Social media also enables you to quickly build your personal brand in an economy where trust is an increasingly valuable commodity. Foresters has partnered with one of Canada's top social media advisors, Jay Palter, to create a special series of training modules. Jay has extensive experience in both insurance and social media fields. He specializes in helping insurance professionals succeed online. New Business process We are pleased to announce that effective immediately, Foresters will no longer require the original policy or certificate contract to be returned as part of the re-issue process. Instead, only an email is required stating that the original contract has been destroyed. Ensure that the client's name and policy/certificate number are included in this email. This email will be become part of the policy/certificate record to align with Foresters privacy guidelines. We are continually looking for ways to improve our process and enhance your experience with Foresters. Move to Don Mills We are pleased to announce that Foresters Life Insurance Company is moving from our current office in Mississauga to Foresters head office at 789 Don Mills Road, Toronto. The move means that all departments will soon operate in one central location and this will help streamline business processes. Employees will also have greater access to resources within the entire Foresters organization to provide you with the best possible service. There is much to look forward to in the months ahead. You can rest assured that there will be no disruption in our operations during the move to Don Mills. Click here for additional information. Improved application In June, we launched our improved Application for Life and Critical Illness Insurance. The item code for this application is 105849 CAN (04/14) and is available through your MGA. Here's what we updated based on your feedback: · Now able to apply for up to 5 policies on up to 2 lives insured. · More space for primary and contingent beneficiaries. · Eliminated the mandatory driving questionnaire and streamlined our questions about driving. · Expanded notes section in the Advisor's Report and the Premium and Issue instructions.
