| Learn how to navigate through changes to DSC options and register for upcoming Portfolio Manager Connect Series. | | More support to help you navigate through changes to DSC options on segregated funds | In March, we announced upcoming changes to deferred sales charge (DSC) options on segregated funds policies. In response to feedback, we understand that a second regulatory consultation will be conducted in the coming months. Any outcome from this is unlikely to impact our plan forward. As such, we're continuing with implementing our plans for current and older segregated funds policies.
To support your client conversations, review the product comparison document that compares features of our older segregated fund products to our current Canada Life Segregated Funds product to help determine if a new policy is more suitable for your client’s future contributions.
For questions and to learn more about our plan forward, visit our DSC landing page or connect with your Canada Life wealth wholesaling team. |

| | | | Check out the features of our new chargeback option | On May 12, we’re introducing a new two-year chargeback sales charge option for our Canada Life Segregated Funds policies. This option complements our existing four-year chargeback and front-end load options, giving you flexibility to suit your client’s needs.
With our two-year and four-year chargeback options, we’ll pay an upfront gross sales commission of 3% and 3.5%, respectively, with trailers beginning in the first month. We’ll continue to offer 4% upfront gross sales commission on our current four-year chargeback option until May 11, 2023. Compensation percentages are gross percentages. For your rate, refer to your compensation guide. Compensation guides will be updated on May 12, 2023, to reflect the new two-year chargeback option.
